Welcome to the website of The Pink Crusaders who began as a team of breast cancer paddlers in 2014.  Since then, we have grown to include our cherished non breast cancer paddlers as well. Dragon Boating gives women who survived breast cancer an opportunity to become fitter, healthier, happier, and at the same time raise awareness to breast cancer.

The Pink Crusaders are a non-profit team with members from all walks of life. We are an inclusive, recreational dragon boat team that like to have fun while still having a competitive edge. Our team participates in 4-5 fun filled regattas per season.

We are not only passionate about dragon boating during the season, but we remain active and connected as a team all year long

"Our mission is to empower breast cancer survivors through the sport of dragon boating. United in strength, courage, and camaraderie, we paddle together to promote physical wellness, emotional healing, and community support. With every stroke, we celebrate resilience, inspire hope, and raise awareness about breast cancer. Through our teamwork and determination, we strive to break barriers, conquer challenges, and reclaim joy in the journey of survivorship. Together with our allies we paddle forward with purpose, forging bonds that transcend diagnosis, and proving that in unity, there is strength."

DBC is the official governing body for the sport of dragon boat racing in Canada and the Pink Crusaders adheres to the DBC code of Ethics.
